Have you always wondered how glass balls and glass Christmas ornaments are made, but you never had the chance to see it?

If you want to hear, see, try, and perhaps learn how glass balls are made, then the Koogle craft is ideal for quenching your curiosity.

With the status of Traditional Craft awarded by the Croatian Chamber of Crafts and the status of Intangible Cultural Property, awarded by the Ministry of Culture, this craft, which celebrates 60 years of existence in 2023, will demystify the process of glass blowing through workshops that we organize for citizens, in order to mark anniversary.

The workshop is divided into 4 phases:

1. BLA-BLA OR ONCE A CONSERVATORY FOR CULTURAL GOODS, ALWAYS A CONSERVATORY FOR CULTURAL GOODS - Introduction and cultural-historical context of glassblowing in Zagreb and Gornji Stenjevac
2. I WORK, YOU WATCH - Presentation part of making a glass ball on a burner
3. YOU WORK, I WATCH - Testing the participants on melting glass and trying (!) shaping 😊
4. CREATIVITY BROUGHT TO GLOW - Finishing and decorating a 10 cm diameter glass ball with decorations of your choice (twigs, berries, cones, birds, wooden angels, moss...)

All accessories and reproduction materials are provided and included in the price.

You take the Koogle you make yourself at home, and if you are not inclined and skilled in decorating, you will choose a Koogle from the already existing assortment, and 1 ball is included in the price of the workshop (Your decoration or Koogle decoration).

Cookies and coffee or tea are mandatory, of course...

Important!

Minors cannot work on an open burner. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Number of participants from 5 to 10.

Bring your mom, brother, friend, sister-in-law, bring a small group of tourists, and it is also possible to socialize with your colleagues with creative and educational team building!
